My background is in math and statistics.  My first job out of college was on the stock market – that was a long time ago (check out my photo)!   Figuring out logic systems is in my nature, calculating odds on anything is automatic for me.  Applying this to stocks, I evaluate the odds of a stock rising or dropping in price for the next few days or weeks.  The goal for a short term trend:  buy at the bottom, sell at the top.  I bet you’ve heard that before.  Not too many people actually do it.
